There’s more snow all over the UK again and MADHEN are being very busy bunnies right now!
We are rehearsing for 3 days in Leicester at Quad Studios
It’s a favourite haunt of ours and a great place to work on new ideas!
We’re working on a new project and the new website is under construction too!
We received a lovely thank you card from Charlotte & Katie @ WRG Creative Communications Ltd regarding our recent trip to Barcelona. We had great fun that night and it’s always nice to get feedback and thanks after the event.
We look forward to working with them again in the near future !

We’re just zoomed back on Eurostar from a great private corporate gig for a global pharmaceutical company in Paris.
Executives had flown in from around the world to the French Capital yesterday morning, as we travelled at high speed from London St Pancras International to Gare du Nord on Eurostar.
We played in a renowned venue called LE SHOWCASE which is situated in the heart of Paris sous le pont Alexandre III (we’re multilingual here at MADHEN)!
After a fairly lengthy sound check we hung out at the club with the lovely Linsey, who looked after us superbly.
To pass the time we took random arty pics on Paul’s camera and devoured hundreds of canapés between us!
Before we took to the stage Sam the DJ (who we’ve worked with on numerous occasions) and Sax player Robert, performed a cool chill-out set to the arriving guests.
At 10pm we took to the stage to an amazing crowd who were most certainly in the party spirit.
A great night, a great venue and great people.
24 hours later and we are back home, getting ready to get waxy again at Madame Tussauds later this week!

And it certainly was as Pizza Hut didn’t let us down last night at their annual conference in London.
We had an absolute blast with the enthusiastic crowd at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel.
The dance floor was packed all night and we had everyone jumping to our ‘Rock Medley’ at the end the evening.
We want to thank the crew and everyone involved who looked after us all evening. Good fun was had by all.
Even the fantastic DJ Steve, said MADHEN were the best band he’d ever worked with.
Thanks to everyone who was there last night – some great memories to treasure.

MADHEN play two sets at the London Hilton Metropole (Edgware Road) tonight for the Pizza Hut Conference 2010. We have been booked for 3 different years now for this event. Last year they didn’t book a band as they had created their own home grown talent show.
Pizza Hut really know how to party, so it should be a fun event. We’ll try and get some pics up here for tomorrow or maybe even a behind-the-scenes documentary style video from Andy ‘Spielberg’ Nichol. He recently got a new HD Digital Video Camera from Father Christmas!

Here at MADHEN, we always get much praise for our website. It is something we are very proud of and gets us a lot of work too. Therefore we are about to give it a major overhaul with exciting new videos, pics, info, links etc.
Those who follow our MADHEN news pages will be the first to know when the new version is up and running. In the meantime, the website will still be fully working until the change over.
MADHEN performed our So 80’s set at Alton Towers for the management team.
This year Alton Towers Resort is celebrating their 30th Anniversary!
There was a highly entertaining talent show before we took to the stage. Everyone was in full 80’s fancy dress which also makes the evening fun.

After coming off stage we were asked if would perform at their birthday celebration concert on Sunday 23rd May (details to be announced).
Fingers crossed we’ll be able to make it, as we are performing in Marrakech the day before!
21st January saw MADHEN jetting off once again!
This time we were off to perform on the beautiful island of Malta for GSK
We were warmly greeted by the wonderful staff at the Corinthia Hotel which overlooks the picturesque St George Bay in St Julians.
After checking in and a great slap-up lunch we sound checked with a great crew who make our life so much easier!

The GSK partygoers were great fun and made us feel very welcome. They asked us to stay after our MADHEN set and we had a blast as DJ Justin Charles kept everyone on the dancefloor. We were then invited to a local club a few minutes walk from the hotel where we had a great night dancing till the wee small hours with the lovely GSK people and the locals too!
We had a great night rocking a private party in a Tipi in the Cotswolds on the 16th January.
Luckily the snow had cleared enough for all the guests to arrive to a beautiful warm and cosy Tipi that had been decked out beautifully.
Before we went on stage the ‘Gypsy Queens’ performed some great acoustic music to the crowd in their own unique style
We took to the stage and there was no stopping the guests all night! They were an amazing crowd who just wanted to party all night long. We played two sets and were joined in the Tipi by the very beautiful and talented DJ Lora. It’s not often that all of us at MADHEN agree on something, but she blew us all away with her great choice in music and mixing skills.
MADHEN love DJ Lora!
Luckily she loved us too and we hope to work with her in the very near future!
