‘Call Me Blondie’

Review by Daniel Mole
‘Call Me Blondie’ wowed the Banks’s Stadium crowd on Saturday with a stunning duel performance.
This brilliant live concert show kicked off, as you would imagine, with a stunning tribute to Blondie and their greatest hits.
From ‘Call Me’ to ‘Atomic’, ‘Heart Of Glass’ to ‘Rapture’; all the classics were covered in what was a high-intesity performance.
After the break, the group showed their diversity with a string of classics from the 1980’s, taking the audience on a whirlwind tour of this decade of decadence. Highlights of the second half of the show included Soft Cell’s ‘Tainted Love’, Kim Wilde’s ‘Kids In America’ and The Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams’.
All in all, it was a night to remember thanks to the high-octane performance of ‘Call Me Blondie’

We’ve performed at a string of beautiful wedding this year. Some small, some large and all over the UK. It’s an honour to be a part of something very personal and special and pride ourselves on our reputation.
It’s always great to receive personal thanks and below is a copy of the card that Louise & Nathan sent to us at MADHEN
We had great fun at their wedding and wish them both well for their future together

For the 2nd year running we performed on the opening night of Goodwood’s Festival of Speed at Goodwood House for the GRRC members on 1st July 2010.
The Festival of Speed is the largest motoring garden party in the world – a unique summer weekend that brings together an impossibly heady mix of cars, stars and motor sport ‘royalty’ to create the largest car culture event in the world.
Held in the immaculate grounds of Goodwood House, this annual hill-climb event is a true celebration of motor sport and all things automotive.
It was another amazing Summers day here in the UK and we got passes to the event so that we could spend some time exploring before our sound check
Later that evening we had a blast performing inside the beautiful house, straight after the amazing firework display
Thanks to everyone for looking after us especially Theresa Giffard from Starlight!
Matthew also gave away his skull vest to jimmie Vaughan’s skull lovin’ bass player!

Back To The Future ’85
May 11, 2010
In 1985 a 25 year old British Athlete named Steve Cram did something that no athlete had ever achieved, broke 3 World Records at 3 different distances, all within 19 amazing days. The first record fell in a memorable race in Nice on July 16th, when Cram beat Said Aouita by 4 hundredths of a second. Eleven days later at the infamous Bislett Games in Oslo Cram defeated Seb Coe smashing his Mile world record in the process. Finally on August 4th 1985 in Budapest, Steve Cram took the 2000m world record away from the legendary New Zealander, John Walker.
The evening will celebrate this and other sporting successes of 1985, including the greatest ever World Championship snooker final between Dennis Taylor and Steve Davis and David Gower’s England team retaining the Ashes in a 3-1 victory over Australia.
